Stiff and rough to the touch
Quilt came dirty and found defects in stitching. After cleaning and washing I used it only to find quilt feeling very200 grit sandpaper like and stiff. I was hoping for something sof, smooth, flexible but I guess not all cotton comes like that.

Love this quilt!
The quilt and shams worked out perfectly when added to my navy duvet and shams. Really brightened the bed and made the room so much prettier. Love the fabric which is soft and love the way it is quilted.

King size
Size, I wish this was longer and a little wider. I have a king sized bed and this is a king but I could use another 6 inches in width and maybe another 10 inches in length. It is a nice quilt but I want a bigger choice.

Will this quilt shrink a lot after being washed? I have washed king size quilts that have shrunk so much, that they didn’t fit my bed anymore.

Hi Terry. The Company Cotton™ Scallop Quilt. Generously sized, the king size quilt measures 108" x 92". This quilt has been pre-washed for lived-in softness. Shell: 100% cotton. Fill: 100% cotton, 275 GSM. Quilted by hand. When laundered according to instructions, any shrinkage should be minimal to none. Thank you for your inquiry.

We suggest our Company Cotton™ Putnam Cotton Matelassé Bedspread - Denim, item 50170M. The twin size measures 80" x 110". Will the full/queen actually fit a queen? From my measurements, it seems that it won't fit a queen very well.

Hi Lisa. The Company Cotton™ Scallop Quilt. Our quilts are designed to lay on top of the bed and hang down on the sides just far enough to cover the sides of your mattress and meet the top of the box spring or footboard. The Full/Queen: 90" x 92". This size should fit either a Full or a Queen size mattress. If you have a Queen size mattress that is 60" x 80", this leaves 15" to hang down on either size as well as 12" at the foot of the bed. Thank you for your inquiry.
