I received this queen size duvet cover from The Company Store for free in exchange for my review, and let me tell you…I now understand why it was free.
First impression: it looks like someone turned in 1997 picnic table into some bedding and said, “yeah people will sleep under this.” The pattern screams “retro kitchen curtain that has seen some things,” and not in a fun, ironic way.
Second: the smell. I don’t know if it’s trying to be “vintage farmhouse” or “forgotten in a box in grandma‘s attic”. Either way, it hit me like I owed it money when I opened it.
I will say - it’s actually pretty soft. Surprisingly soft even. But it’s also a little thin, like one strong breeze away from being a napkin.
Comfort-wise, it’s…fine? But emotionally I feel like I should be eating baked beans and questioning my interior design choices.
If your aesthetic is “rustic yard sale meets emotional support flannel,” then this may be the one of your dreams! For the rest of us, I will be continuing to search for bedding that doesn’t make me question my life choices.
2 stars because it is, in fact, a duvet cover.

Great color
This duvet cover is a nice soft cotton cover. The color is a nice brown and black color that would add richness to any bedroom. The duvet does wrinkle a bit if you don’t take it straight out of the dryer.

The stitching to the pillowcase is very tight knit stitched, and when you lay your face down on it, it doesn’t leave the stitching marks like some pillowcases do it’s flushed with the rest of the pillowcase. The color is beautiful the light bluish

The color is beautiful the light bluish gray color that goes with everything. The weight of the pillowcase if this makes sense feels thick but is light and I’ve used it for two weeks and I’ve been going through hot flashes the last 20 years, but this does not contain heat like other pillowcases do. I will buy these for the rest of bedrooms. I would give 5 stars for the pillow case and I’m picky with my auto immunes and always hot. This is the one I never sweat with this. I’m very happy about the over view of everything.

Hi Steve. Queen pillows aren't as common as standard pillows, but they can also fit in a standard pillowcase. Standard pillowcases are a versatile choice, designed with extra room to comfortably fit both standard and queen pillows.
