It's fairly comfortable to sleep on, relatively easy to put on my mattress, a little large on a 12"" queen Pranasleep mattress. Had a couple of odd marks on it out of the packaging, like someone poked it in a couple of places with a black sharpie.

Sandwiched between two layers of soft 100% cotton jersey outer layers, the inner layer of breathable, ultra-thin Thermoplastic polyurethane waterproof barrier repels liquids and stains, protecting and extending the life of your mattress. Since the pad consists of just the inner and outer layers, a measurement of thickness is not available. This product is designed to be more of a waterproof mattress cover. Thank you for your inquiry.

Which of your mattress pads do you recommend for my queen sleeper sofa? I want it to fit snugly (and be waterproof if possible), but it's a sleeper sofa with a 5"" thick mattress.

A: Hi Sharon ~ Thank you for your inquiry. With a 5 inch thick mattress, you are not going to get a snug fit with this Jersey Waterproof Mattress Pad. For a snug fit, there is a product called Fitted Sheet Straps. It has four elastic straps, one for each corner, that will tighten corners and they are inexpensive.
