Seems OK but a bit stiff
I expected to have the jersey soft feel, but the underlying waterproofing makes the mattress pad stiffer than expected a bit like you might slight on it, rather than the friction you would expect from the jersey soft.

The Company Cotton Jersey Waterproof Mattress Pad. Sandwiched between two layers of soft 100% cotton jersey outer layers, the inner layer of breathable, ultra-thin Thermoplastic polyurethane waterproof barrier repels liquids and stains, protecting and extending the life of your mattress. Since the pad consists of just the inner and outer layers, a measurement of thickness is not available. This product is designed to be more of a waterproof mattress cover. Thank you for your inquiry.

Which of your mattress pads do you recommend for my queen sleeper sofa? I want it to fit snugly (and be waterproof if possible), but it's a sleeper sofa with a 5"" thick mattress.

Hi Sharon ~ Thank you for your inquiry. With a 5 inch thick mattress, you are not going to get a snug fit with this Jersey Waterproof Mattress Pad. For a snug fit, there is a product called Fitted Sheet Straps. It has four elastic straps, one for each corner, that will tighten corners and they are inexpensive. Thank you for your inquiry. The Jersey knit laminate fabric which covers the top of the mattress is breathable. There is no laminate layer on the drop/skirt.
