I love this blanket!

When I took this out of the package, I worried a little bit- it is very thick and substantial, and I was hoping to use it as a lightweight summer blanket. However, I'm happy to report that it's very breathable and sleeps cooler than my previous combination of a cotton blanket topped with a very thin fleece. This blanket provides just enough warmth without making me overheat. I used to wake up sweating with my other combination, even when the room was relatively cool at night. So far, that has not happened with this blanket. The surface texture reminds me of the look of velvet, but the feel is much softer. I'm happy I purchased this. Very good quality.

Unexpectedly narrow
I expected this blanket to be heavy since it’s part cotton and it is, but it’s not too bad. When I washed it, it did not shed too bad. It seems like it will be comfortable to use. A guest got to use it first. It does look narrow, though.
