Comfortable blanket
Very nicely put together. The only thing I would change would be to have a satin binding instead of a cotton one. Nice weight and the stitching sure ramps up the look of the blanket. I’d buy this product again!

Because of this, I believe that over time, the down around the edges will shift and bunch up in some places and be "downless" in other places. Sadly, I will be returning this blanket and continue my search for a down blanket that is truly stitched in the best manner to hold all of the down in place.

During the quilting process, the fabric shells are securely clamped into a rectangular rack to hold the product in place. It is important to note that if the needle were allowed to extend to the edge, it would encounter clamps and potentially result in the needle breaking. To prevent this issue, our needle settings are adjusted to ensure that the quilt line comes as close to the edge as possible without contacting the clamps. Hi Patti. The Legends Hotel™ Alberta Down Blanket. Fill: 500-550 fill power ethically sourced, RDS certified European down.
Shell: 300-thread count soft and silky combed cotton sateen. With the higher thread count combed cotton sateen, you should notice less rustling of the fabric. Over time, with use your down blanket will soften and any rustling will subside, as well as after laundering. We were unable to locate a previous order for a down blanket purchased from us using the information provided, in order to make a comparison. Thank you for your inquiry.

The Alberta Down Blanket was originally offered in 5 colors. All colors except for the White have been discontinued. Unfortunately, those other colors will not be restocked. Thank you for your inquiry.

The Alberta Down Blanket is designed to be a light weight blanket providing year-round comfort, with double-diamond stitching and a 2 in. self-hem binding. The blanket does not have the loops at the corners to attach to our duvet covers. Should you decide to use a duvet cover, you may.
