I am hoping that goes away when we wash it. I purchased the white as and under blanket to a down comforter but I am not sure I even need the down comforter. Overall construction is impressive though and I am satisfied with the quality.

Overall a great product. Just one contention — I was under the mistaken impression that it’s 100% cotton. I feel a bit mislead by the title on the product page that I thought indicated it was fully cotton. If I read a little further I’d have seen that it’s a poly filling. For me, synthetic fabrics trap waaaayyyy too much heat. I find myself getting a bit too hot under this and a linen sheet, even in a cold PNW winter. But overall, great product.

Hi Lorie Ann. The Air Layer Quilt will hold up well when laundered according to instructions: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Remove promptly from dryer; do not iron. Excessive washing is not recommended. For our family dog, we lay a cotton blanket on top our of quilt/comforter, and that is his place to snuggle/lay. Will this jersey fabric snag? My dog likes to sleep on my bed and I'm afraid her nails will snag the fabric.

The Air Layer Quilt. Shell: 100% cotton knitted. With any cotton knit, it may be possible for a dog's nails to snag the fabric. With our dog, we put another blanket or throw on top of our comforter, and that was her special place to curl up. Thank you for your inquiry.
