Better than top sheet.
This is softer and wash’s better than top sheet. Why would top and bottom sheets be so different? Pillowcases also wash nicely and feel much softer than top sheet.

How deep is the pocket on the fitted sheet? Old question was answered that its 14in but the description says the standard sheet fits up to a 18in mattress.

The Legends Hotel™ Premium Cool Supima® Cotton Percale Fitted Bed Sheet. The Q&A you are referring to is from 2016. We have upgraded the sizing on the fitted sheets from this collection since that time. Currently, Standard sheets accommodate mattresses up to 18 in.
Deep Pocket sheets accommodate mattresses up to 20 in. Thank you for your inquiry.
