We've taken the guess work out of selecting the pillow that's right for you. First, consider if you prefer a pillow that is filled with down or feathers, or one that is filled with hypoallergenic material.
Consider your sleep style: do you sleep on your stomach, back or side? Or are you someone who tosses and turns throughout the night?
The way you sleep will determine the firmness of your pillow. A soft pillow is for someone who sleeps on their stomach. A medium, for a back sleeper and a firm, or super firm pillow, for those who sleep on their side. Generally those who don't maintain a particular position through the night prefer a medium density pillow to accommodate all positions.
The cover of the pillow is also important. All of The Company Store® pillows have 100% cotton covers, in varying thread counts. The higher the thread count, the tighter the weave of the fabric, which helps keep impurities out and the fill neatly inside.
Is my Pillow too Old?
Pillows can wear out over time. It is important to know when they need to be replaced. To test your pillow, fluff your pillow well, then, fold it in half. If the down and feathers still retain their natural ability to loft, the pillow should unfold itself. If not, it might be time for a new pillow. Ultimately, the best test is comfort. If your down pillow is no longer soft and comfortable, it's time for a change.
