Q:I have a lanai opening between two columns that I want to install the outdoor sheer panels. The opening is 132". I figured I would need the 100-144" tension rod. How many panels do you think would be the best choice.....3 or 4?Asked on 5/18/2017 by Sally from Lakewood Ranch, Fl 34211
A:Hi Sally - A common rule for curtains recommends the curtains finished width should be at least 2 times the width of your window to achieve a look of proper fullness. Since your opening is 132", it would be desirable to have at least 264" of curtain which would be 5 panels. Thank you.
