Duvet Covers
We’re as enthusiastic about duvet covers as we are about our comforters. You’ll find great comforter covers in as many colors, patterns and fabrics as our quality sheets – in fact, many of our sheets and bedding ensembles have corresponding duvet covers. Pair your sheets with the matching duvet cover, or mix and match to show off your own unique style.
what is a duvet cover?
Think of a duvet cover as a pillowcase for your comforter. Every comforter we manufacture has loops at the corner, and each duvet cover has four inside ties, ensuring the comforter will stay in place through the night.
why use a duvet cover?
There are a number of reasons. The first is style: a new duvet cover is a quick and easy way to change the look of your bed, and even your entire bedroom, in one easy step.
Beyond that, there are practical reasons. You’ve made an investment in a quality down or down-alternative comforter; now protect that investment! Most of our duvets are machine washable, but it’s much easier – and more economical – to wash a duvet cover on a regular basis. Furthermore, some allergy sufferers find that the extra barrier provides a little extra relief from sniffles.
But back to the question of style: choose a muted or neutral solid color duvet cover to complement the overall décor of your bedroom – or try a richer color to add some zing. We’ve also got a great selection of patterned duvet covers that are more likely to be the focal point of your bedding ensemble. A striped duvet cover offers a timelessly handsome look, while a floral duvet cover can add a little brightness.
There’s nothing as richly inviting as the feel of flannel on your skin. In the cold winter months, or any time of year, a flannel duvet cover makes your bed the most inviting spot in the house. Jersey knit duvet covers are a popular choice, too: sometimes called t-shirt material, jersey knit is ultra soft and smooth.
We’ve got a great selection of luxury duvet covers in rich, high thread count fabrics. You may prefer wrinkle-free duvet covers for the hotel-like feel they offer: no iron, no fuss. Our eco-friendly, organic duvet covers are sustainably produced, and made with 100% certified organic cotton.
If you’ve got a college-bound kid, she's likely to find an xl twin mattress in her dorm room, so outfit her xl twin comforter with an xl twin duvet cover.
Finally, for those who like a little extra coverage, we’ve got oversized duvet covers.
Whatever your style, The Company Store has you covered.
